SBEM Calculations for non-residential
The Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is a regulation for non-domestic buildings, best viagra and is used to determine CO2 emission rates for new buildings in compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations (England and Wales). It is also used to generate Energy Performance Certificates for non-domestic buildings upon sale or rent.
The SBEM Calculation is very complex and our assessors will guide you through achieving compliance, advising and implementing throughout. The SBEM takes account of the large variation of building types and the various different uses within a building. It considers the u-values of the floors, walls, roofs, windows & doors; it looks at the ventilation, the lighting, the heating, cooling, controls, low carbon technologies, thermal mass, thermal bridging and solar gain.
We can also help you to ensure any additional requirements, such as BREEAM Certification or a Planning Condition such as e.g. 10% of energy to come from renewable.
